Course Overview
The Master of Arts in Counseling (MAC) is a 5-semester, 2-year program that prepares students for careers in professional counseling. The program includes 6 units of foundational courses in research and quantitative methods, complemented by 18 units in core counseling areas such as Assessment, Counseling Theories, Career Development, and Group Process. Students gain practical experience through a required practicum. The program concludes with elective courses in School Law and Human Behavior, as well as a thesis to enhance their applied counseling skills across diverse settings.
